Queensland Alpaca Week April 19-27 2008
Coraz Alpacas had 3 open days during this inaugural Regional promotional event. Families and several prospective alpaca owners attended on these enjoyable days during the perfect autumn weather. A new girl, Coraz Zuka was conveniently born during the week.

Coraz yarn and rovings Knitters and spinners bought Coraz yarn and rovings (beautifully processed by Anne Harwood at her Echo Beach Alpacas mini-mill).

huacaya cria An unusual sight at Coraz, the teddy bear like Zydeco was born to Elly, a huacaya mum used to inject colour in to the herd through crossbreeding. She was this time mated to Gold Coast Sunny, a dark fawn huacaya.

Zydeco and Zuka Elly(Rravensholme Miss Elegance) and Zydeco will be for sale when he is a little older, if Zuka can part with her playmate!

Coraz Alpacas participated in the joint display with several local breeders in Bundaberg’s annual field days event, May 8-10. This effort is sponsored and endorsed by the Queensland AAA Region, and enables us to present an attractive display in a marquee (which won the award for the best indoor display last year).
